Yesterday I watched the movie "The Proposal." This is one of my favorite movies because my favorite actress is in this movie Sandra Bullock (Margaret Tate) and also Ryan Reynolds (Andrew Paxton). The movie is about a couple that was not supposed to fall in love. The boss of this book publishing company, Margaret Tate forces her assistant Andrew Paxton to marry her because she has an expired visa and will be deported to her natal country, Canada. Andrew agrees in this deal because he will be promoted as an editor. The government investigates that they are not marrying because of this reason. They are forced to go visit Andrews family in Alaska for the weekend and they announce their marriage, the family proposes that they should marry that same weekend that the family is all gathered together because of Grandma Annies 90 birthday, they accept the proposition. The wedding day comes and Margaret realizes she cannot do this to Andrew's family because of all the love they have for him and she has forgotten what it was to have a family that loves you. She accept in front of everyone what she has done and is taken back to New York and has only 24 hours to return to Canada. Andrew realizes that he is wifeless and had really fallen in love with Margaret and returns to New York to look for her and tell her that he loves her. (241 words)
WEEK 2
During this week I watched The Parent Trap which is an old movie but my favorite one. The main characters are Annie James and Hallie Parker acted by Lindsay Lohan and their parents Nick Parker and Elizabeth James. Annie and Hallie are two identical twins that when they were born their parents separated, Annie went to live with her mom in London and Hallie with her dad to Napa, California and they have never seen each other since then. Eleven years later they were both sent to a summer camp by a complete coincidence and none of them know they have a twin sister, because of their bad behavior they are both sent to the "isolation cabin" where little by little they start to uncover they similarities and that Hallie has never met her mom and Annie her dad. After all these things they both realize they are twins. Hallie comes up with this brilliant idea that since they are identical they could change places that Annie goes to Napa with her dad and Hallie to London with her mom and that someday their parents will discover this and will have to meet again face to face. During the rest of the camp they both teach each other how to be like the other one. When the summer camp ends they do as planned. Hallie goes to London and is very happy for metting her mom for the first time and getting to be with her all the time, on the other hand Annie goes to Napa with her dad and finds out her dad is in love with this hateful woman Meredith Blake. Annie calls her sister to tell her about all that is happening and these two girls to everything even the impossible to ruin this love. They meet up again at a Hotel in San Francisco and these two girls make Meredith's life impossible. At the end Elizabeth and Nick fall in love again and live as a happy family.(333 words)
WEEK 3 During this summer i have practiced my english in several ways what I did to keep practicing my english was that I made a trip to New York city and there i had to communicate with everyone in english also i read a lot of advertisement banners, street signs, that they were all over the place. All the advertisement banners in time square were most of them very big beautiful, creative and caught my attention to read them. The street signs were important because this way we didn't get lost in that big city. Also i had to practice my english when we went to stores to buy cloth and when we needed help from a shop worker and when we went to restaurants i talked english with the waiter to see what i ordered to eat. Something that I do when I am very bored is to read FML's at www.fmylife.com. These true random stories happen to real people and they upload them to this website so people can see them. They are amazing, they keep me entertained every time I am bored and make me laugh a lot. Some are not that funny like others but most are hilarious. Also, from these stories you can learn things like to don't make the same mistakes as other people. It helped me practice my english because I learn new words and ways to express myself in these type of situations. This website is rather entertaining, I highly recommend it. (112 words)

When I went to New York city something that i bough a lot over there were magazines, they were all over the place there was a stand with magazines and candy like in every block. When i got home back to Honduras I wasn't bored at all reading all the magazines I had bought for myself. Most of the magazines were about celebrity news and drama. Magazines keep me updated with everything happening around the world they are very entertaining and fun. Some of my favorite magazines are people, bop, twist, american way, life and Style, Vogue and seventeen between others. Reading all these magazines I learned several new words that i can now start using in my daily english. Most of the magazines had very interesting and inspiring articles that updated me with current things happening in celebrity and world wide life. (143 words)
WEEK 6
Yesterday, I watched Sex and the City with my cousin. It is the first movie based on the original HBO series Sex and the City. It consists of four best friends that live in New York City, except for Samantha Jones, who lives in California. Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, and Charlotte York, all live in different parts of New York City. Carrie is a journalist, who has written three successful books about love and relationships, who is in a relationship with John James Preston also know as "Big". As Carrie and Big move in together into a new apartment, they decide that they should get married. The wedding plans where originally a small wedding of seventy five guests, and expanded to two hundred guests. The big wedding started giving Big second thoughts, when Carrie arrives where their wedding was going to take place, she calls Big because he was not there yet, and he tells her he can not marry her. The four best friends decide to go on a trip to Mexico, where Carries honeymoon suite was now used by her and her friends. They return to New York city and Carrie gets her old apartment back and hires an assistant Louis from Saint Louis, she makes Carrie’s life a lot easier by moving her things back to her old apartment checking her email between others. Then Louis moves back to Sain Louis since she has already found her true love and wishes Carrie the best in her search for a new love. At the end Carrie goes back to her apartment she had with Big to pick up some missing shoes and when she gets there he was waiting for her and they realized how much they loved each other and made a very simple wedding with no guests. Although their wedding was simple and not as awesome as expected this cannot be said of their lifes together. (322 words)

Today I watched the movie Thirteen going on Thirty with Jennifer Garner. The movie is about a girl named Jenna Rink that is 13 years old and she is not the most popular girl in school and her only real friend is Matt. She hosts a party for her 13th birthday and invites a group of girls called the "six chicks" which are the popular girls at school, they end up ruining Jenna's birthday party. Matt gives Jenna a birthday gift ,her own doll house and some "wishing dust", with that she wishes to be thirty flirty and thriving. The next day Jenna wakes up and she is living in New York city in her own apartment and she is an editor at Poise magazine, she is all confused and doesn't know what is going on and everyone at work and her asistant think she is hungover. Jenna starts to figure out what she actually is now and starts to enjoy everything in her new life. Matt helps Jenna update her with everything that happened during highschool and her passed years and she is kind of confused since she has a way of thinking of a 13 year old girl. At the end Jenna and Matt fall in love and marry each other. (213 words)

A few days ago I went to the movie theater with my friends to watch the movie Knight and Day it was mostly a combination of action and comedy, the movie starts in an airport where Tom cruise who acts as Roy Miller, the main carácter of the movie. He was a secret agent that worked for the FBI but they though he was going to steel the Cycifer which was a battery so small that could figure in your hands and is very powerfull that Could even give energy to a small city. Then at the begining at the airport gate Roy meets with Cameron diaz that acts as June Heavens. She was not supposed to get on the flight that Roy will get on, after he sees that June got into the same flight he got worried because eveyrone inside were agents that worked with the FBI and were sent to capture Roy, the problem got when tom reveled to June his secret of been an agent, at that part she got into troubles and the entire movie is about June and Roy trying to evade giving the Cycifer to the wrong people. This movie speaks about two important things: first, you have to fear everyone around you and trust very few. Second, you must not work for the FBI, this movie even shows how a secret agency can work for the wrong side and making us think they work to protect us, even though sometimes we fear not. It was a very entertaining movie and I would definitely recommend it. (263 words)
